DXI 2027 Officially Begins, Celebrating 20 Years of Deep Collaboration
· Dharmawan

Twenty years is more than just a long journey. It is a story of community, trust, and collaboration that has continued to grow alongside the development of diving, water sports, outdoor activities, adventure, and their supporting industries in Indonesia.

Carrying the theme “20 Years of Deep Collaboration,” DXI 2027 will once again bring together industry players, communities, adventurers, divers, nature lovers, tourism professionals, and many others who share the same passion for advancing the industry and protecting Indonesia's natural wealth.
The Kick Off event is the first step toward the celebration of DXI's two decades, and also marks the start of various preparations and collaborations leading up to DXI 2027. This momentum is expected to open up more opportunities to build programs, strengthen networks, and create a lasting positive impact.

On this occasion, DXI also introduced its collaboration with Fish-ID Nusantara (FIN) as Program & Conservation Partner. This collaboration connects DXI's strength as a meeting space for industry and communities with FIN's mission to encourage divers to become citizen scientists through underwater photography and fish species identification.
Through FIN, every dive is expected to be more than just a recreational experience. The fish photos produced can serve as species documentation, an educational tool, and a contribution to increasing knowledge and awareness of Indonesia's marine ecosystems.

The partnership between DXI and FIN is also part of a commitment to making conservation an important element in the growth of the diving and marine tourism industry. This collaboration is expected to broaden community involvement, improve literacy about marine biodiversity, and encourage more parties to take a real role in ocean conservation.
The DXI 2027 Kick Off is not only the beginning of the road to an exhibition, but the start of a shared journey to celebrate 20 years of collaboration while building the future of Indonesia's marine industry and conservation.
