Knowledge is the first step toward caring. The more species we know, the stronger our reason to protect them.
Fish-ID Nusantara (FIN) is an underwater photography competition built around species identification — it invites divers to recognize, document, and record the fish biodiversity of Indonesia's waters.
SCUBA divers and freedivers document fish in Indonesian waters.
Each photo is uploaded together with the species ID, dive site, EXIF data, and dive-operator validation.
Judges confirm or correct the fish's identification.
Points are calculated from the IUCN Red List conservation status.
Points are awarded based on the species' conservation status, according to the IUCN Red List.

“Make every diver in Indonesia a citizen scientist who contributes something real to the conservation of Indonesia's seas.”
FIN connects recreation, photography, science, conservation, and tourism in one national platform.
